Tasks
1- Institutional and individual research proposals requested to be examined by the Commission are forwarded to the Commission through the Rectorate by the deans of our University, Institute, College and Vocational School, together with the Commission Application Form and necessary annexes. Applications coming from outside the university are submitted to the Rectorate by the highest official of the institution where the applicant works.
2-Research proposals coming to the commission are evaluated in the first meeting according to the order of application. If the Commission deems it necessary, it may invite the researchers or experts who made the research proposal it is examining to meetings and obtain their opinions. When necessary, it may also send research proposals to these experts for prior evaluation. The Commission prepares forms and guidelines regarding application conditions and procedures.
3- The Commission examines each research proposal in accordance with the Higher Education Institutions Scientific Research and Publication Ethics Directive and reports the proposal as "appropriate" or "inappropriate" to the Rector. Studies carried out before the application (data collection processes have started) will not be evaluated. While the research proposals of the commission members are being discussed, the member who made the proposal cannot participate in the discussions and cannot vote.
